CODA
(Cincinnati Oldies and DooWop Association) is a non profit organization formed for the preservation and enjoyment of music
of the 50's and 60's. The organization was officially formed in February of 2002 and currently has over 300 members.
CODA currently meets once a month at Jim & Jack's On the River (3456 River Road, Cincinnati, Ohio 45204). During our
monthly meetings (usually the 3rd Sunday of the month) the CODA Band will perform along with various acappella groups. The
membership welcomes anyone with musical talent to perform at these meetings. Each year CODA plans two or more concerts. These
concerts are larger productions and have included groups like Phil Dirt and the Dozers, Jimmy Beaumont and the Skyliners,
Otis Williams and the Charms, The Reflections, Terry Johnson's Flamingos, Billy Joe Royal, Johnny Angel, The Halos, The
Dubs, and many other artists.
Other CODA activities include two family picnics that are scheduled yearly and various
other things from month to month. CODA would like to thank you for coming to our web site and ask that you check out our other
pages.
We would like to invite you to join our group
and help Keep
the Music Alive!
